Rita Secreast-Doll

Mrs. Secreast-Doll received her B.A. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received her M.A. in Education and her J.D. from the University of South Carolina.

She began her career as a Law Clerk for the Honorable C.T. Goolsby, Jr. at the South Carolina Court of Appeals. Mrs. Secreast-Doll then served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Matthew J. Perry Jr. at the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Thereafter, she worked as Corporate Counsel for Laidlaw Environmental Services focusing on Environmental and Transportation law.  Mrs. Secreast-Doll then returned to the United States District Court where she worked as a Career Law Clerk for several U. S. District Judges and as a Pro Se Law Clerk/Staff attorney. After retiring from the U.S. District Court, she worked as a contract attorney focusing on personal injury, medical malpractice, and workers compensation law. Mrs. Secreast-Doll has also worked as an Adjunct Professor in South University’s Paralegal program.

Mrs. Secreast-Doll is a member of the South Carolina Bar and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina and the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals.
