Henry Riva-Palacio

Henry Riva-Palacio joined Merritt Webb in 2022. Prior to joining Merritt Webb, Mr. Riva-Palacio worked both for private law firms and public interest programs. He practiced Securities Law for a law firm in Frankfurt, Germany. He also gained significant experience in Trusts & Estates, Criminal Defense and Family law working for firms in North Carolina. He enjoyed working for public interest programs and helping low-income clients resolve their legal issues. He has handled cases both for English and Spanish-speaking clients.

Mr. Riva-Palacio studied History & Political Science at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated with honors. He went on to study law at the University of North Carolina School of Law. He continued his legal studies at Heidelberg University in Heidelberg, Germany, where he completed an LL.M. in German and International Law, as well as a Certificate in French Law. Mr. Riva-Palacio has spent a great many years living and traveling abroad and is fluent in Spanish, French and German. He is licensed to practice law in New York and North Carolina.
