Catherine Y. Brockenborough
Catherine Brockenborough was born and raised in Washington D.C. She graduated from Yale College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History, after which she spent two years serving and working with disadvantaged children in Wilkes-Barre, PA. Ms. Brockenborough attended Columbia Law School and, after graduating, headed to Nashville to join the Metro-Nashville Office of the Public Defender. As an Assistant Public Defender, Ms. Brockenborough represented indigent adults and children charged with crimes.
Ms. Brockenborough later joined the staff at the Office of the Post-Conviction Defender where she represented death row prisoners in their state post-conviction appeals.
Ms. Brockenborough joined Merritt, Webb, Wilson & Caruso in 2019 where she enjoys assisting clients with their legal needs.
