Masonic Home for Children at Oxford

MHCOMerritt Webb has a long standing relationship with the Masonic Home for Children at Oxford. The organization is one of the few state-licensed and nationally accredited homes for children in North Carolina. MHCO is unique in that it provides a family-living model, providing children with individual living spaces, essentials for daily living, support for special needs, and a complete education.

MHCO’s mission is to assist families in need by providing a safe, home-like setting for children until they are reunited with family or achieve independence. Referrals for admission are accepted from anyone; family, friends, childcare placement agencies, departments of social services, masonic lodges, juvenile justice divisions, area mental health programs, private citizens, homeless shelters, schools, churches, or any who work with children and are concerned for care and stability. Applications can only be submitted by legal guardians for children or by children over the age of 18.

MHCO is supported though charitable giving which provides directly for the children of MHCO and the overall operation of the Home. In-Kind gifts are a special way to do this. In-Kind gifts can provide for first birthday parties, transportation, everyday needs, opportunities, activities, and the chance to be a kid. To learn more, go to http://www.mhc-oxford.org/index.html
